The “Right Way” to Learn a Language
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a way to simply learn that worked for everyone? - I’m actually not so sure it would be.
Because if there were - this one fantastical way - the way that works for absolutely everyone, what would be the joy in learning?
Aside from it purely not being possible have a single method because each method is designed with a different purpose in mind, it would no longer be a process - but rather a formula.
And we, we would not be persons. We’d be simplified versions of ourselves.
We’d go to school
We’d read the textbook
We’d listen to the lecture
We’d take our notes
We’d demonstrate our memorization
We’d receive a note
We’d continue class after class
This world - where we recycle & regurgitate the ideas of our predecessors - is no place.
Yet, somehow it is.
Systems were made to be broken
Without structure, we would crumble.
We’d seep into our own desires regardless of intent.
And with it - we’d have a structure to flow through
which some integrate
and some will obey.
Those who integrate will lead with passion & inspiration.
Those who obey will also lead; they’ll dictate & instruct; they’ll command & master.
Meanwhile, the integrators will shine - they’ll lead not through an army, not through the system - they’ll guide through a creation all of their own, one sustained for its functionality rather than its implementation.
