Acuity Scheduler

Acuity is awesome for scheduling appointments automatically. I particularly like the customizable appointment booking pages and payment integration options. It seamlessly books my appointments and sets up a Zoom session, all ready to access from my Google calendar and even sends out reminder emails, so all that’s left for me to do is show up prepared for my meetings.

Zoom Video Conferencing

My favorite part about Zoom is the ability to integrate it with Acuity and automatically record each of my meetings. It makes it so easy to set up conferencing for each of my appointments.

NameCheap Domains

I’ve been using NameCheap for many years now with a few different websites. It’s an excellent way to get a cheaper domain, rather than purchasing through your website host. You’ll just need to be comfortable managing your DNS settings to set it up.

Planoly.png

Planoly Instagram Planning

I’ve tried some other planning software, but Plannoly is by far my favorite because it creates a preview of my Instagram feed and has the option to insert placeholders which I use for photos in between my posts so that I can have content planned, even when I don’t yet have all the pieces. It’s a pretty seamless way to post to Instagram (and Pinterest), especially for people who like to plan, but not necessarily schedule content.

Epidemic Sound

I get all my copyright free music from Epidemic Sound. It’s super easy to navigate and find the sounds I’m looking for quickly❤

Canva.png

Canva Graphic Design

Just about everything you see on my website, Instagram, and even my YouTube channel, I design in Canva. I like to think of it as a Photoshop for non-techy people. Although, I’m also an Adobe user, I love the ease of Canva for design elements.

G Suite.png

GSuite Accounts

If you’re looking to give your business that extra professional feeling, a GSuite account with a name matching your website is the place to start❤

OneDrive Storage & Office

For anything that I don’t plan to share through my Google Drive, I use OneDrive as an alternative to storing files on my computer. I also enjoy having the option to use the Microsoft office programs when I’m looking for something a little more customizable.

Squarespace.png

SquareSpace

I’ve been through a few website providers, and SquareSpace is by far my favorite. I love how easy it is to customize templates on it (my template was designed by BrandWell)❤

Adobe.jpg

Adobe Cloud

I mostly use Photoshop & Premiere Pro for photo and video editing, but I have the Adobe cloud programs and occasionally use and experiment with some of the other applications within the cloud❤

Dubsado.png

Dubsado Contract Signing

While this platform has many uses for business, scheduling, billing, etc., I primarily use it for contract signing and form creation because I love professional and personalized feel of it. There is a bit of a learning curve to get started with it though, so you’ll want to make sure you’re comfortable navigating this type of software.

My Filming Equipment

Here’s the exact equipment I use for filming my videos & anything else I happen to need them for within my business❤

Camera.jpg

My Camera

This is the camera I film my YouTube videos on. It’s an awesome high quality camera at a fairly low price-point. I’ve been using it since early 2020, and I love it!

SD Card.jpg

My SD Card

I have a few of these SD cards. I like to separate my projects on different cards to keep organized ❤

camera case.jpg

Camera Bag

I store my camera, microphone, SD cards, batteries, and other camera supplies in this bag to keep them safe and clean when I’m not using them.

Camera Mic.jpg

My Camera Microphone

The microphone on my camera is okay, but I use this to minimize echo and improve the overall sound quality of my videos.

batteries.jpg

Spare Camera Batteries

I recommend getting some spare batteries for your camera. I make a habit of switching out my battery after each time I use my camera, so there’s always a fully charged one in there when I get ready to shoot. I also keep a couple of these spares charged in case my battery goes dead during filming, so I can quickly switch it out and continue recording.

Mini Tripod.jpg

My Mini-Tripod

This is my secondary tripod that I use when I want to film while holding my camera or at my desk. It’s great for portability or when I just don’t want to deal with setting up my full-size tripod 🙃

My Camera Tripod

This tripod is awesome because it is so easily adjusted and designed for indoor & outdoor use ❤

pop.jpg

Pop Filter for Yeti

I don’t always use a pop filter with my Blu Yeti microphone, but this is the one I have for when I really need premium sound quality.

foam cover.jpg

Foam Cover for Yeti Mic

I recommend using a foam cover for your Yeti microphone. This one’s pretty cheap and does the job 🙂

speakers.jpg

Speakers for Yeti

I use these speakers when I record with my Yeti microphone and don’t want to have headphones on - usually when I’m recording a screencast presentation with my webcam.

lights.jpg

My Studio Lights

If you’re looking for basic lights so that you can film with consistent lighting, day or night, these are an awesome, affordable option 😊

Blue Yeti Microphone

I use this microphone whenever I’m recording anything not on my camera, like audio files, screen recordings, etc.

webcam.jpg

Webcam in My Videos

I clip this webcam on over my laptop webcam when I do screencasts or record Zoom conversations for videos. The quality is not as high as my camera, but it speeds up my editing & recording this way and frees up my camera, so I can use it for shots from different angles.

Car mount.jpg

Car Mount for Camera

Finally, I can record safely while driving! I bought this car mount for my camera, so I can do vlog style videos in my car 🥰
