5 Reasons to Learn Spanish

 

Aside from its linguistic beauty, Spanish is one of the most valuable languages to learn if you live in North America, South America, or Europe. It’s so widely spoken and so rich with culture & history of its own and its influence by and on other languages that you’ll benefit from being able to speak Spanish with natives and using it to learn about other languages as well.

1. Spanish is spoken by over 463 million people in 21 countries

Spanish is the primary language in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Spain, Uruguay, Venezuela.

2. Spanish will help you learn Italian, Portuguese, and French more easily

Since these languages are all Latin-based, it’s easy to learn the others once you learn one of them because of their commonalities in vocabulary, grammar, and conjugation. You may even find that you can already understand some of them just by learning Spanish.

No matter where you live, it’s highly likely that Spanish will benefit you greatly.
